The scene is the Kit Kat Klub, a night club in Berlin, as the 1920s are drawing to a close. The Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience to the show and assures them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at the Cabaret. Cliff, a young American writer, meets Sally Bowles, a young English girl while singing at the Klub it becomes apparent that her voice is not the main reason for her employment. Throw into our story a heavily frowned upon romantic relationship between Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz due to differences of opinions. As life in pre-WWII Germany grows more and more uncertain, will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through these dangerous times? When we revisit the Klub, much has changed…
