Comedy and mayhem abound with the Brewster sisters who are famous in their neighborhood for their numerous acts of charity. However, their charity includes poisoning lonely old men who come to their home looking for lodging. Matters get complicated when their nephew, a theater critic learns his two old aunts have been serving gentlemen callers lethal elderberry wine.
