CAST BIOS

Catherine Rieflin – Sam (she/her) is thrilled to be back at Pacifica Spindrift Players (PSP) performing in The Mad Ones. Last seen on this stage as Veronica Sawyer in PSP’s 2019 production of Heathers: The Musical, some of her other favorite roles include Serena in Legally Blonde (Hillbarn Theatre), Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof (Sacred Heart Prep), and Louise in Gypsy (PSP). When she’s not onstage, Catherine works as a Human Resources Business Partner for LinkedIn. Lots of love to her family and friends who never miss a show and to the cast and crew for making this such a fun production to be a part of. Lastly, to B.Lose: These characters truly embody our friendship and I am so grateful to have gotten the chance to bring them to life with you. Meet you at Arby’s!

Brigitte Losey – Kelly (she/her) is so excited to be returning to the stage with her best friends by her side. This show has truly been a passion project and it has been such a joy to work with the people she loves. The last time she was on the PSP stage she was screaming, “CORN NUTS” in Heathers: the Musical as Heather Chandler alongside Catherine Rieflin. She hopes you enjoy feasting your eyes on this dynamic duo once again!

Jepoy Ramos – Adam (he/him) is beyond thrilled to be back at PSP. He has worked as an actor, producer, director, playwright, production/stage manager, and crew for various theatre companies including Bay Area Musicals, Bindlestiff Studios, Custom Made Theatre Company, Hillbarn Theatre, Pacifica Spindrift Players, Palo Alto Players, Ray of Light Theatre, Landmark Musicals, and many others. He is a proud member of the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle. In his limited spare time, you can see Jepoy teach fitness at F45 Studio in San Bruno, running multiple Spartan Races all over the US, or traveling to different cities around the world. Cara Burgoyne – Beverly (she/her) is excited to be doing her first show with PSP. After the in-person musical drought of 2020, she is amazed at how wonderful it is to sing harmony with the talented people in this cast. Some of Cara’s previous performances include Mariah in Twelfth Night (Novato Shakespeare), Margaret in Insignificant Others (New Conservatory Theater Center), Patsy in Always, Patsy Cline (Foothill Theatre Company) and Ma Strong in Urinetown (Landmark Musicals). Professionally, Cara is a Speech Language Pathologist for the San Francisco Unified School District, where she keeps her students entertained with Potato Head theatre. She is also a voice teacher at the University of San Francisco, where she enjoys making her students pretend to be singing octopi. Big, huge thanks to her family, friends, co-workers, and the people with the yellow shoes.

Catherine Traceski – Sam/Kelly Swing (she/her) is thrilled that live theatre is finally back and that you’re all here to experience this truly special production. Her favorite theatre credits include Maureen in RENT, The Acid Queen in The Who’s Tommy, Rusty in Footloose, as well as Sweeney Todd, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mamma Mia, West Side Story, Annie (Hillbarn Theatre), The Sound of Music (Broadway by the Bay) and Big Fish (Sunnyvale Community Players). Catherine is especially grateful to her family and friends for their love and support.

Cat Imperato – Beverly Understudy (she/her) is delighted to be a part of this incredible show. Recent roles include Rosie in Mamma Mia (Redwood City Community Theatre), Alaura Kinglsey in City of Angels (PSP), Rose in Gypsy (PSP), Fraulein Kost in Cabaret (PSP), and Sarah in Company (Coastal Repertory Theatre). A Bay Area native and graduate of UCSD’s Department of Theatre and Dance, current member of PSP’s Executive Board, and practicing primary care clinician by day, she lives with her family in Pacifica.

 Doug Greer – Director, Set Designer, Costumer, Understudy – Adam (he/him) is beyond excited to be directing his first show in two years! Previous directing credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Heathers: The Musical (PSP), and Newsies (Hillbarn Theatre). Outside of theater, Doug leads an amazing team of Campus Recruiters at LinkedIn and is studying to get his personal training certification. Jad Bernardo – Music Director (he/him) is thrilled to be music directing The Mad Ones for PSP! As a pianist, he was recently featured with Leanne Borghesi at the New York Cabaret Convention at Lincoln Center. He also performed the role of Audrey II in Hillbarn Theatre’s production of Little Shop of Horrors. Jad has worked with operatic/Broadway professionals, served as faculty/staff/coach at New York University, Adelphi University, Broadway Method Academy, and currently Hillbarn Conservatory. He’s music directed the Sondheim Awards (Shubert Theater); Evita and Annie (Westport Country Playhouse); Songs for a New World, Fugitive Songs, and Carousel (Red River Lyric Opera, OBVI); The Fantasticks (Millbrook Playhouse); Footloose and Ragtime (RCA, CT); Five Guys Named Moe (feat. Grammy Winner Nathan Best) and Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Northern Stage); Sweeney Todd (Gerald W. Lynch Theater NYC); Extraordinary (Vital Theater Co.); and off-Broadway hit Pinkalicious! (New World Stages).

Raissa Marchetti-Kozlov – Stage Manager & Production Manager (she/her) Going on this journey with this stellar cast and crew has made Raissa Marchetti-Kozlov one happy camper. She is no stranger to the stage, both off and on, as she serves on the creative sides of many theatre companies in the Bay Area and as an actor in a few more. An M.A. Theatre Arts Thesis candidate, Raissa also works at Google and owns Redwood City Players. She thanks PSP for their support and especially Greg Greer who finds ways to successfully harness her many organizational skills. She sends love to her family and friends. Michelle Morales – Props Designer & Producer (she/her) is so pleased to be making her return to PSP where she first got her start in props design. This is Michelle and director Doug Greer’s fourth time working together after successfully collaborating on PSP’s productions of Heathers: The Musical and Spelling Bee, as well as Hillbarn Theatre’s Newsies. Michelle is also a performer and most recently appeared in Hillbarn’s 1940’s Radio Hour, Mamma Mia and Anything Goes. Michelle is a member of PSP’s Executive Board in charge of grants and sponsorships, and has received several grants for the theatre since joining in 2020. As her day job, she is the lead copywriter for the makeup brand KVD Beauty (yes, she gets paid to make up clever names for lipsticks and eyeliners). Kait Kerrigan – Book & Lyrics (she/her) is an award-winning lyricist, bookwriter, and playwright. Off-Broadway: The Mad Ones (FKA The Unauthorized Autobiography Of Samantha Brown), Henry & Mudge, with composer Bree Lowdermilk. She has written book and lyrics for the immersive house party The Bad Years, Republic, Unbound, Irena; and lyrics for Rosie Revere, Engineer & Friends, and Earthrise. Her plays include Father/Daughter, Disaster Relief, Imaginary Love, and Transit. Her work has been developed by La Jolla, Kennedy Center, Theatreworks/Silicon Valley, Primary Stages, Goodspeed, and others. Awards: Kleban, Larson, Theatre Hall of Fame Most Promising Lyricist. Alumna of Dramatists Guild Fellowship, Page 73’s I-73, BMI Musical Theatre Writing Workshop, and Barnard College.

Bree Lowdermilk – Music (she/her or they/them) is a queer, gender non-conforming writer and composer.
